Long Term Courses

1. 4 years Diploma in Tool & Die Making

     Approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
   • Intake capacity : 70
     Reservation for ST/SC/OBC/PH as per Govt. norms.
     
   • Eligibility criteria
     Matric with maths and science or equivalent with 50% marks for General and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped category.
   • Age: Between 15 to 19 yrs for Gen. (Up to 22 yrs for SC/ ST/ OBC/physically handicapped candidates)
   • Course Commences from: The course shall start once a year in the month of August. Advertisement will be published in March.
   • Course Fee
     Rs. 20,000 per annum
     Rs 80,000/- (US Dollar equivalent) for Foreign Nationals/IPO/NRIs
   • Entrance Test on the basis of syllabus of 10^th standard conducted in the month of June/July in Jamshedpur.
   • Facilities available are library, hostel, canteen & placement cell.
   
   

2. 2 years ITI Machinist Course

     This course is ITI machinist course.
   • Intake Capacity: 2 units. Each unit comprising of 14 trainees.
     Reservations of seats will be as per Govt. norms.
   • Eligibility Criteria: Passed the 10^th class exams under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent.
   • Age: Not below the age of 14 years and not more than 25 years (28 years for SC/ ST/ OBC/physically handicapped candidates) relaxable up to 35 years for widow/ separated women as on the date of start of session.
   • Course Commences from: The course shall start once a year in the month of August. Advertisement will be published in March/April.
   • Course Fees: Rs. 18,000/- per annum.
   
   

3. 2 years ITI Fitter Course

     This course is ITI Fitter course.
   • Intake Capacity: 2 units. Each unit comprising of 16 trainees.
   • Eligibility Criteria: Passed the 10^th class exams under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent.
   • Age: Not below the age of 14 years and not more than 25 years (28 years for SC/ ST/ OBC/physically handicapped candidates) relaxable up to 35 years for widow/ separated women as on the date of start of session.
   • Course Commences from: The course shall start once a year in the month of August./Dec.
     Advertisement will be published in March/April.
   • Course Fees: Rs. 15,000/- per annum.
   
   

4. 2 years Advanced Machinist Course

     (Only for SC/ST/OBC & Minority communinity whose family income from all sources is
       Rs. One Lakh per annum only and domicile of Jharkhand.)
   • Intake Capacity: 400 seats (100 seats each in Jamshedpur, Kolkata,Indore and Hyderabad).
   • Eligibility Criteria: Passed the 10^th class exams under the 10+2 system of education or its equivalent with min 40% marks with maths & science.
   • Age: Not below the age of 15 years and not more than 22 years.
   • Course Commences from: The course shall start once a year in the month of Nov./Dec.
     Advertisement will be published in Sep/Oct.
   • Course Fees: Govt. of Jharkhand shall bear the total cost of training including free stay and fooding and Stipend of Rs. 350/- per month.
